Magnolia & Lace Collaborative was a little dream that started with a couple of us wanting to provide a fun, effective, and proactive way of planning a wedding day by getting engaged couples and those assisting in the wedding planning details in front of an amazing group of wedding creatives & professionals within their area’s local wedding industry. Most couples don’t know where to start or what to do when planning a wedding. While expos, magazines, websites, and even social media provide insight and wonderful resources to planning a wedding, often times a couple can’t imagine how it all comes together.
Katrina and Jennifer have worked together in various aspects of the wedding industry and found a wonderful friendship in the process. After presented with Katrina’s idea to do a something different, they envisioned venues styled for weddings and having all of the needed wedding day creatives present at each venue. Thus giving the couples and those helping a chance to see different Wedding Day Inspirations, sample some eats & sweets, and talk with the experts that are available locally.
The area offers a varied landscape but it is named The Crystal Coast, but there is so much more than the coast… there is beach sides, sound sides, historical, small town, riversides, mainland, farmland, and so much more.
We decided to call it The Southern Stroll, A Traveling Wedding Day Experience. Fitting huh?
THE LADIES BEHIND THE COLLABORATIVE
Katrina Naylor, owner of Southern Lace Weddings & Events and Director at Butterfly Kisses Pavilion has been in the wedding industry for over 7 years. She got her start in the wedding industry after she & her family built Butterfly Kisses Pavilion while planning her own BIG DAY! After working the venue part she realized that she enjoyed the organization and seeing all the creatives & professionals and the elements of a wedding come together. She become Certified Wedding Planner through The Bridal Society. Shortly after becoming certified, Southern Lace Weddings and Events came to be.
After attending and participating in many different wedding expos & other planning opportunities she always wanted to find a better way to expose her venue and share her talents with couples. Katrina was the mind behind the Magnolia & Lace Collaborative.
Reaching out to a few local creatives to collaborate with, she found success with a couple of them!

I am a 22 years old full-time mom, wife, and college student aspiring to be a successful business woman. I will be graduating with honors Fall 2019 with my Associates degree in Business Administration and certification in management and accounting. I plan to further this degree with my bachelors. I am a member of Sigma Kappa Delta and Sigma Alpha Pi. On the weekends, you can find me rehabbing a old piece of furniture, shopping in hobby lobby, or binge-watching Doc Mc Stuffin with my daughter. Among the many things that I love are the sound of my tea kettle whistling, the smell of freshly ground coffee and the magic of marriage.
